for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said: "Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."
The world is speedily heading towards the end of the age. Everydays news is a stark reminder of the truth of Gods word and a stage setter for the fullfilment of prophecy. Christians who are versed in the word of God know that just about every piece of the prophetic puzzle is being put in place.
Luke 21:25
"There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.
With these being the last days, God is placing a call for His people to come out and be seperate from the world and to do His will. Increasingly there is no more room for a middle ground. Everything is being polarized to black and white, dark and light. Those who are trying to live with one foot in the world and their hearts divided will fall by the wayside, for everything is about to be shaken. The Lord is seperating the wheat from the tares.
Isaiah 24:19-20
19 The earth is broken up, the earth is split asunder, the earth is thoroughly shaken. 20 The earth reels like a drunkard, it sways like a hut in the wind; so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion that it falls--never to rise again.
This is a wakeup call for all sleeping brothers and sisters. How well have you built upon the foundation of Jesus Christ in your heart and life?
Matthew 7:24-29
"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash." 28 When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, 29 because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.
Our comfort zones are about to be taken away. We dont know what horrors could be in store for us in the future.
It's time to get our priorities and hearts right before the Almighty everlasting God. Let us wash our robes in the blood of the lamb and be about the work of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ who loved us before the foundation of the world. We need to be vigilant now more than ever. Choose this day who you will serve.
Joshua 24:15
But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.
The times are going to be very hard in the coming days. We must trust in God no matter what comes our way.
The only way we will be able to stand is if we are abiding in Him and his word. We must rely on the comfort and power given by the Holy Spirit and know and understand that our God is good and righteous in His judgements.
Remember His love and faithfulness in our lives. No matter what this world throws at us, no one can take Jesus from us. And He is the sovereign Lord.
John 10:27-30
27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and the Father are one."
The trials in our lives at this present time are Gods way of waking us up. May we run to Him and not grumble and complain as the Israelites did in the wilderness. We have to let go of ourselves. We have a mission here. It is to lead loved ones and everyone in our sphere of influence to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
As prophesied, many of the churches in our day are asleep. They are comfortable, and nothing more than good time Charlie clubs that just mention Jesus every once in a while. The word of God is no longer taught with authority. Especially Gods word as it pertains to the last days. Many are asleep.
False doctrines are creeping into every crevice of our churches.
2nd Timothy 4:3
For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
They seek to unite the faiths of the world; but in doing so they forsake the truth of God and His word. For Jesus said, John 14:6 "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Rest assured, that we who stick to the truths found in Gods word will be demonized by these false teachers.
Try to speak of things concerning the last days as it relates to Gods word, and I'm sure that many will scoff at you and not want to listen. This was foretold by the Apostle Peter:
2nd Peter 3:3-7
3 First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation." 5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
And also as a sign of our day:
2nd Timothy 3:1-5
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God-- 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.
If this doesn't describe our day and age, I don't know what does.
Wake up, God implores us to grow up in the faith.
John 4:35
Do you not say, 'Four months more and then the harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.
To all who understand, I pray, be in the word of God so you will be thoroughly equipped to do the will of God.
2nd Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
If you are in Gods word, the Holy Spirit will bring scripture to your mind when you need it for all occasions.
Wether it be for comfort, to combat wrong thinking, to transform your heart to be holy before God, or of course the main reason God has left us in this world at this time and calls us to serve, "which is to reach the lost."
2nd Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, So what do you say? Are you a warrior for Jesus Christ? Will you take up your cross daily and follow Him? He is calling us to serve Him in the fullness of time. Christ is coming for His bride! Will you proclaim Jesus Christ to this lost and dying world for loves sake?

We have all the power of God on our side to bless and keep us, and to do His will. Be ready and available to the Holy Spirits leading in your life. Remember to rest in His love, mercy and grace, and to always pray. The battle is His, and must be fought in His power and might!
Will you come out of the world and live for Christ? Are you a wheat or tare?

Merciful and Gracious heavenly Father, we ask for the comforting presence of your Holy Spirit to be with us during these troubled times. Help us to let go of the things in this world that displease you. Work mightily and quickly, for the time is short, to transform us into the image of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May you draw all our loved ones, everyone we know, and the many and multitudes unto yourself in and through our lives. We love you Jesus, and long for your coming so we can be with you forever. However, we realize there is work for us to do here. Give us your strength to accomplish your will as we lay our lives before you.

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel's multi-layered air defense network will be fully deployed by 2015, combining short-range rocket interceptors with kamikaze satellites that blow up ballistic missiles in space, officials said on Monday.
Unveiled at a government-sponsored aerospace conference in Jerusalem, the production schedule corresponds to Israel's assessment of when Iran might develop nuclear weaponry.
Should the Islamic republic get the bomb, that could embolden allies Syria and Lebanese and Palestinian guerrillas in their own fights against the Jewish state.
"In the next two to five years, we will turn this vision into a reality," Colonel Zvika Haimovitch of the Israeli air defense corps said in a speech. "Within the coming five years, we will see this doctrine implemented."
Spurred by Hezbollah salvoes in the 2006 Lebanon war, Israel developed Iron Dome, which shoots down rockets with ranges of 5 to 70 km (3 to 45 miles). David's Sling, an interceptor for more powerful rockets, should be ready by 2013, Haimovitch said.
The next tier of the shield is Israel's Arrow interceptor, which has been operational for a decade and is designed to knock out Iranian or Syrian ballistic missiles at high altitudes.
An Arrow III upgrade will launch a booster-rigged satellite beyond Earth's atmosphere to collide with the missile, said project director Yoav Turgeman of state-owned Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).
"We are talking about hermetic protection," Turgeman said. "Even if the new Arrow misses the incoming threat, it will be far enough from Israel's borders to allow for a secondary interception."
Turgeman said Arrow III, which like its predecessors is being underwritten by the United States, would be ready by 2014 or 2015. Its first live trial is expected in 2011. The projected cost of each interceptor missile is $2 million to $3 million.
FACE-OFF
Arrow III had previously been swathed in secrecy. Asked about the decision to go public with it at the International Aerospace Conference and Exhibition, an Israeli defense official said: "Everything was done with the full backing and initiative of the Defense Ministry, given the current state of affairs."
He appeared to be referring to Iran's uranium enrichment in defiance of international pressure to curb the process, which can produce fuel for bombs. Tehran says it is for energy only.
Though the Israelis have hinted they could attack Iran pre-emptively, there are big tactical and diplomatic hurdles.
The missile shield -- which officials envisage patching in, when needed, to U.S. interceptors such as Aegis -- suggests Israel is weighing a more defensive posture, girded with the deterrence offered by its own assumed atomic arsenal.
Among the advantages of Arrow III cited by Turgeman was that its interception of a nuclear missile would not produce toxic debris, as this would burn up on re-entering Earth's atmosphere. Such planning is hard to reconcile with Israel's vow, dating back decades, to deny its enemies access to nuclear weaponry.
Arrow veteran Uzi Rubin raised another possible disincentive to a pre-emptive Israeli attack now: retaliation by Iran, Syria, Hezbollah and Palestinian Hamas guerrillas from Gaza.
In the absence of reliable air defenses, Rubin said in a speech, Israeli cities can be hit by as many as 13,000 rockets and missiles, some accurate to within 500 meters (yards) and carrying warheads with as much as a half-ton of explosives.
The greater Tel Aviv area alone could expect to suffer 1,500 strikes -- enough to guarantee damage to military headquarters, paralyze the economy and gut morale. Dozens of Iraqi Scud missiles sowed chaos in Tel Aviv during the 1991 Gulf war.
Rubin said the face-off risked forcing a de facto parity on Israel, which has long relied on overwhelming force of arms to compensate for its geographical smallness and numerous foes.
"The enemy has achieved aerial supremacy without even having planes," Rubin said.

When I read, in the November 12, 2010 edition of The Jerusalem Post, what Abu Mazen (aka Mahmoud Abbas) sees as the bottom-line for ending the conflict with Israel, I wonder why in the world Western leaders and propagators of the decennia-long "peace process" are consistently criticizing Israel's "obstructions to peace." They should be telling the Arabs that, if this really is their "bottom-line" then they, and they alone, are obstructing the realization of peace. For no reasonable person can support Israel committing political suicide in its efforts to reach such a peace with its neighbors.
Why, then, do Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton not call a spade a spade, telling the Palestinian and Arab leadership that if Abu Mazen's reported remarks are really indicative of where the Palestinian Arabs are today, peace will never come to the Middle East.
Statements Abu Mazen is quoted as having said at a rally in Ramallah on November 11, as reported by the Post's Khaled Abu Toameh, include:
"The Palestinian position remains unchanged - a Palestinian state free of settlements with Jerusalem as its capital and the right of refugees to return to their homeland."
Abbas added that he wouldn't recognize Israel as a Jewish state, for fear that such a move would harm the status of Israel's Arab minority and deprive Palestinian refugees of the right to return to their former homes. He said that since 1988 the Palestinians haven't relinquished any of their main demands.
After all the years of negotiating with Israel this, then, remains their final goal: a Palestinian state and the return of all refugees to "Israel proper. No one - unless they support the eradication of the Jewish state - can expect Israel to so dismantle itself and commit national suicide.
The peace process is dead, therefore, because of Arab, not Israeli, intransigence. How many times has Israel demonstrated - often painfully - a willingness to compromise - to no avail. The Arab side has not budged. As it was in with the founding of the PLO and before, the bottom line for most Muslim Arabs is that the Jewish state will be dismantled piece by piece. This is the "peace process" they believe in in their hearts.
Where is the outcry from this hypocritical world? Where is recognition of the demonstrated historical reality of Israel's readiness to constantly make concessions versus the intransigent unwillingness of the Palestinians to respond in kind?
Israel withdrew first from big parts of it own biblical homeland - Gaza and Jericho in 1993/94; then 99 percent of the Palestinian-occupied parts of Judea and Samaria. Israel withdrew, unilaterally, without any Arab quid pro quo from South Lebanon. Then Israel uprooted 10,000 of its own people and pulled out of the Gaza Strip. Again no quid pro quo. Instead, thousands of rockets were rained down on Israel from Lebanon and Gaza - both of which have become bastions of terror in the hands of a modern-day Hitler called Ahmadinejad.
And now? Now Israel again has to do this - under the direction of self-deluded and blind-to-the-facts politicians, both inside and outside Israel - by giving these fanatic Islamic forces the opportunity to set up a third terrorist-directed Arab entity (a Palestinian state) 20 kilometers away from Ben Gurion airport and Tel Aviv; from there able to use Iran-supplied shoulder-launched rockets to bring down every incoming plane to Israel?
Even Israeli Arabs, with all the rights afforded to them by the Israeli government and Knesset - of which they themselves are a part - slam Abu Mazen as a stooge of the Americans and Israelis because of any hinted willingness on his part to make even the slightest concession. If this is in the hearts of these Arab citizens - who are often inclined to support the more extreme views and goals of Hamas, Hizbollah and Syria despite all the rights they enjoy in this democracy - then there is no chance at this moment for peace with the Palestinians.

The Islamist attacks on America began before 9/11/2001. There were many terrorist attacks against the United States and its citizens around the world by Muslims. By 2001, there were metal detectors at airports and security checks were routine. All because of Muslims who insisted on attacking air travel to kill the infidels. Since 9/11, the rights of every American citizen have been restricted because of what the government wants us to believe is a handful of radical Muslims. President George W Bush was quoted more than once as saying that the Muslim terrorists needed to be right only once, and American security wrong only once for there to be a major terrorist disaster.
It would be an amazing number to publish the amount of money the Muslim religion has cost the American taxpayer. Further, it would be an astronomical measure to quantify the loss of civil rights attributed to the Muslim religion. Now the government has come up with what it calls "Backscatter" technology that uses low doses of radiation to create a naked image of those traveling on airplanes. This is what the government believes is an acceptable way to scan prospective air passengers for explosives or other materials that could cause death on an aircraft. The government says the radiation is safe, but who is to trust the government these days? Some believe there are health risks associated with these machines.
If one does not want to experience the naked body scan complete with the extra radiation with unknown future side effects, one can submit to a so-called "pat down." This "pat down" includes a government official groping your genitals. If you refuse such a groping, it is likely you will not be permitted to fly and you are susceptible to civil fines of up to $10,000 according to Transportation Safety Administration policies. The Airlines can refuse to transport you if you refuse to permit a search of person or property by the TSA. You agree to this as part of the terms and conditions of purchasing an air travel ticket. In other words, you give up your Constitutional right of privacy and of unwarranted search and seizure.
In Genesis 16:12, an angel of the Lord describes Ishmael, the son of Abraham that the Muslims claim as their connection to God. The Islamist attacks on America began before 9/11/2001. There were many terrorist attacks against the United States and its citizens around the world by Muslims. By 2001, there were metal detectors at airports and security checks were routine. All because of Muslims who insisted on attacking air travel to kill the infidels. Since 9/11, the rights of every American citizen have been restricted because of what the government wants us to believe is a handful of radical Muslims. President George W Bush was quoted more than once as saying that the Muslim terrorists needed to be right only once, and American security wrong only once for there to be a major terrorist disaster.
It would be an amazing number to publish the amount of money the Muslim religion has cost the American taxpayer. Further, it would be an astronomical measure to quantify the loss of civil rights attributed to the Muslim religion. Now the government has come up with what it calls "Backscatter" technology that uses low doses of radiation to create a naked image of those traveling on airplanes. This is what the government believes is an acceptable way to scan prospective air passengers for explosives or other materials that could cause death on an aircraft. The government says the radiation is safe, but who is to trust the government these days? Some believe there are health risks associated with these machines.
If one does not want to experience the naked body scan complete with the extra radiation with unknown future side effects, one can submit to a so-called "pat down." This "pat down" includes a government official groping your genitals. If you refuse such a groping, it is likely you will not be permitted to fly and you are susceptible to civil fines of up to $10,000 according to Transportation Safety Administration policies. The Airlines can refuse to transport you if you refuse to permit a search of person or property by the TSA. You agree to this as part of the terms and conditions of purchasing an air travel ticket. In other words, you give up your Constitutional right of privacy and of unwarranted search and seizure.

Understanding the $60 Billion Saudi Arms Deal: It’s About Iran - Jonathan Tepperman – www.theatlantic.com
Last week, the Obama administration unveiled a massive new US-Saudi arms deal. In the days since, the proposed package–which still needs congressional approval–has received relatively little attention from the press and foreign policy pundits (one exception, I should note, is my boss at Eurasia Group, Ian Bremmer). That in itself is surprising, as the deal is striking on at least three counts.
The first is its sheer size. At $60 billion, the sale–which would include 84 F-15 fighter planes, 70 Apache attack helicopters, 72 Blackhawk troop-transport helicopters, and 36 Little Bird surveillance copters–would dwarf any previous US arms deal ever. It’s particularly striking in a year when US weapons sales worldwide are down 9 percent.
Second is the fact that, so far at least, the Israeli government–which has often and understandably sought to block arms transactions with Arab states in the past (and just this weekend objected to a new Russian sale of cruise missiles to Syria), has yet to utter a peep of protest. In fact, sources suggest the Israelis have actually blessed the Saudi purchase, in part because the weapons systems are less sophisticated that what Israel gets access to. For example, the Israelis are currently slated to soon buy state-of-the-art F-35s, while the planes the Saudis will be getting are updated versions of a 34-year-old model.
But the real story behind the sale–and it’s an element I’ve yet to see discussed very widely–is the way it may reflect a subtle but significant shift in the US posture toward Iran.
It shouldn’t surprise anyone to learn the whole deal is actually about Iran. After all, when the US took out Saddam Hussein, it eliminated the Saudis’ only other real enemy except al Qaeda (and you can’t use fighter planes against jihadis). The Obama administration admitted as much last week; as a senior administration official told the New York Times on Friday, the deal is meant to show the Iranians “that [their] nuclear program is not getting them leverage over their neighbors, that they are not getting an advantage.”
What is surprising, however, is that this deal seems to represent a highly controversial shift in how the administration plans to deal with Iran: from what wonks call (borrowing language from the Cold War) rollback to what’s known as containment.
In plain language, the difference is between a policy aimed at stopping Iran from getting nukes (rollback) and one aimed at stopping Iran from using them if, or when, it does (containment). A look at the nature of the weapons Washington is planning to sell Riyadh, which reportedly also include the THAAD anti-ballistic missile defense system and an upgrade to the Saudis’ Patriot batteries, makes it clear that the package is meant to help one of Iran’s largest neighbors (and a longtime target of Iranian provocation) cope with nuclear-armed and potentially more belligerent Persian state.
Now, this may be highly rational; it certainly seems that way to me. Despite Washington’s success this spring passing a new round of sanctions against Iran and gumming up Tehran’s illicit weapons program through sabotage and other means, the mullahs continue to make slow progress toward a bomb. Ultimately, nothing short of a military strike is going to keep them from getting one (if that; there’s in fact a huge debate over whether even a US or Israeli strike could set back Iran’s march to nuclear precipice by more than a year or so).
But shifting from rollback to containment, even if it’s the more realistic policy and done quietly, is still a dangerous move for the Obama administration, for several reasons. First, making the switch by funneling unprecedented quantities of firepower to the Saudis could fall flat, or even backfire. The kingdom has already been the largest purchaser of US arms for some time now, and despite that fact, has proved utterly incapable of defending itself and its massive oil fields. Second, by upping the quantity of weapons dramatically, the administration risks igniting a regional arms race. (It’s worth noting that in 2008, the tiny United Arab Emirates actually spent even more on armaments than the Saudis did.). Apart from its inherent dangers, such a escalatory cycle would pose a major PR problem for a White House that has made global arms reduction a major part of its policy agenda.
The third issue is by far the most delicate. Since taking office, skeptical hawks in both Washington and Jerusalem have watched the Obama administration like… well, hawks for signs that it may not be prepared to stand behind its avowed commitment to keep all “options on the table” when it comes to Iran–code words for preserving the option to use a military strike if all other means of halting Iran’s nuclear program fail. Maintaining the credibility of that threat is critical to the administration at the moment, both because it keeps the Israelis from taking matters into their own hands and because it gives Iran extra motivation to consider negotiations.
To persuade the doubters of its mettle, the administration has resorted to a variety of measures in recent years, including engaging in contingency planning, holding frequent briefings with the Israelis, and trotting out Rahm Emmanuel to insist to Jeffrey Goldberg that it had not ruled out “counterproliferation by force.” In recent months, these gestures seemed to be succeeding. But if failsafe moves like this Saudi sale start persuading the skeptics that Obama has lost his nerve, it could unleash a whole set of nasty consequences for the administration. These include strident attacks from Republicans going into the midterm elections and the presidential campaigning that will start soon after. They could also include a range of destabilizing Israeli moves, from withdrawing from the peace process–which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu probably only engaged in to secure US cooperation on Iran–to reconsidering a military strike of its own.
None of this means the Saudi deal is a mistake. But it does mean the stakes are a lot higher than most people seems to recognize.

A group of highly respected national security professionals dubbed “Team B II” are releasing a major new study today of the threat America faces from Islamic shariah law currently creeping into our legal system.
HUMAN EVENTS got an advance look at the document. The report, entitled “Shariah: The Threat to America” is now available in full online at www.ShariahTheThreat.org.
This much-needed analysis takes a fresh look at shariah law, placing vital information in the hands of average, everyday Americans and intelligence officials alike and offers a chilling threat assessment of shariah’s crushing incompatibility with the U.S. Constitution.
The report is being released today at a Capitol Hill press conference by members of the “Team B II” threat assessment team. Those team members include former Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence Lieutenant General William G. “Jerry” Boykin, former Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew C. McCarthy and Center for Security Policy President Frank Gaffney.
Members of Congress also present to support the release are Representatives Trent Franks (R.-Ariz.), Pete Hoekstra (R.-Mich.) and Michele Bachmann (R.-Minn.).
During the Cold War with Soviet Russia, analysis from the CIA and other intelligence agencies had missed the mark by basing threat assessments on input from policymakers, not on actual, factual threat doctrine. In 1976, “Team B” was formed to take a more thorough, realistic look at the enemy.
Their 1976 work product challenged then-prevailing official U.S. government intelligence estimates of the intentions and offensive capabilities of the Soviet Union and the policy known as "détente" that such estimates ostensibly justified.
Given today’s politically correct climate, the likelihood of a federal government-driven “Team B” threat assessment scenario at this crucial time is remote.
This study from highly respected, top intelligence and policy experts is the result of months of analysis, discussion and drafting and focuses on the preeminent totalitarian threat of our time: the legal-political-military doctrine known within Islam as shariah.
Other distinguished members of “Team B II” are: former CIA Director R. James Woolsey; Lt. Gen. Harry “Ed” Soyster, former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency; Adm. James “Ace” Lyons, former commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet; Ambassador Henry Cooper, former director of Strategic Defense Initiative; and Joseph Schmitz, former inspector general at the Department of Defense.
The analysis provides a comprehensive "second opinion" to official U.S. government assessments and characterizations of the shariah threat. It offers examples from history and from widely accepted sources of authority in the Islamic community to present the unfiltered nature of shariah law, challenging today’s assumptions euphemistically described as "violent extremism"—as well as the policies of co-existence, accommodation and submission that are rooted in those assumptions.

Tolerance in America Versus the Quran
“This brief examination of American principles establishes that American principles are principles of liberty are rooted in mutual toleration. It follows that, in the United States, liberty was never intended to tolerate the intolerant and its citizens were never intended to tolerate totalitarian doctrines. Put differently, intolerant, totalitarian doctrines are in direct conflict with the stated purpose of American government ‘to secure these rights [endowed by their Creator].’
“Even a fairly superficial reading of the Quran and other primary source documents of shariah reveals that it is a political-military-legal doctrine, rather than a religion as defined by the American standards mentioned above. The prominent Islamic scholar Abdul Mawdudi concurs with this assessment, saying: “But the truth is that Islam is not the name of a ‘Religion,’ nor is ‘Muslim’ the title of a ‘Nation.’ In reality, Islam is a revolutionary ideology and program which seeks to alter the social order of the whole world and rebuild it in conformity with its own tenets and ideals.”
“Shariah is, moreover, a doctrine that mandates the rule of Allah over all aspects of society. Specifically, in contrast—and fundamentally at odds—with the Virginia Statute for Religious Liberty, shariah holds that God did not create the mind free, but in subservience to the will of Allah (as detailed in shariah). The condition of human beings is submission to Allah, not freedom.”
From submission, dhimmitude and shariah blasphemy codes to “fear as reason” policy, this analysis offers a stunning look at what “moderates” and “violent extremists” alike desire—including so-called “moderates” like Ground Zero mosque Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf.
They seek an America that is “shariah compliant.”
Conclusions offered in the report are an eye-opener. Another sampling:
“Under successive presidencies, the United States has failed to understand, let alone counter successfully, the threat posed to its constitutional form of government and free society by shariah. In the past, such failures were reckless. Today, they are intolerable.
“The preceding pages document shariah’s true supremacist and totalitarian character. They make clear its incompatibility with the Constitution as the only source of law for this country. As we have seen, shariah explicitly seeks to replace representative governance with an Islamic state, to destroy sovereign and national polities with a global caliphate.
“If shariah is thus viewed as an alien legal system hostile to and in contravention of the U.S. Constitution, and as one which dictates both violent and non-violent means to a capable audience ready to act imminently, then logically, those who seek to establish shariah in America—whether by violent means or by stealth—can be said to be engaged in criminal sedition, not the protected practice of a religion.”
And a further sampling of the recommendations in the report reflect the seriousness of the threat we face from an ideology that has covertly permeated our government institutions.
“While detailed recommendations for adopting a more prudential and effective strategy for surviving shariah’s onslaught are beyond the scope of this study, several policy and programmatic changes are clearly in order. These include:
• U.S. policy-makers, financiers, businessmen, judges, journalists, community leaders and the public at large must be equipped with an accurate understanding of the nature of shariah and the necessity of keeping America shariah-free. At a minimum, this will entail resisting—rather than acquiescing to—the concerted efforts now being made to allow that alien and barbaric legal code to become established in this country as an alternate, parallel system to the Constitution and the laws enacted pursuant to it. Arguably, this is already in effect for those who have taken an oath to “support and defend” the Constitution, because the requirement is subsumed in that oath.
• U.S. government agencies and organizations should cease their outreach to Muslim communities through Muslim Brotherhood fronts whose mission is to destroy our country from within as such practices are both reckless and counterproductive. Indeed, these activities serve to legitimate, protect and expand the influence of our enemies. They conduce to no successful legal outcome that cannot be better advanced via aggressive prosecution of terrorists, terror-funders and other lawbreakers. It also discourages patriotic Muslims from providing actual assistance to the U.S. government lest they be marked for ostracism or worse by the Brothers and other shariah-adherent members of their communities.
• In keeping with Article VI of the Constitution, extend bans currently in effect that bar members of hate groups such as the Ku Klux Klan from holding positions of trust in federal, state, or local governments or the armed forces of the United States to those who espouse or support shariah. Instead, every effort should be made to identify and empower Muslims who are willing publicly to denounce shariah.
• Practices that promote shariah—notably, shariah-compliant finance and the establishment or promotion in public spaces or with public funds of facilities and activities that give preferential treatment to shariah’s adherents—are incompatible with the Constitution and the freedoms it enshrines and must be proscribed.
• Sedition is prohibited by law in the United States. To the extent that imams and mosques are being used to advocate shariah in America, they are promoting seditious activity and should be warned that they will not be immune from prosecution.”

In Ezekiel 38, the LORD speaks of a war where Gog leads Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya to "come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes (38:16)." The conventional wisdom is that Gog is Russia, Persia is Iran, Ethiopia and Libya are Northern Africa. And this war is a major event marking the end time prophecies. In recent weeks, announcements in the news media point toward that development as Russia is reestablishing itself as a supplier of weapons and weapons technology.
Consider that Russia, when it was the Soviet Union, once held strong ties to the terrorist Middle East especially with support and weapons sales to the Palestinian Liberation Organization, now the Palestinian Authority, and to Iran, Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Libya and more. When President Reagan's policies bankrupted the Soviet military machine and dispersed the Soviet empire, those relationships in the Middle East were put on hold. But since Russia has recovered economically and its military industry is once again thriving, it is making new headway with the dark side of the Middle East--Islam. Russia, however, is taking a more aggressive, deceptive and ultimately dangerous approach.
For nearly a decade, Russia has been playing a cat and mouse diplomatic game to block sanctions against Iran for its nuclear program. All the while, Russia and China were supplying Iran with nuclear materials, nuclear technology and missile technology. Now Russia has flipped the switch on its so-called nuclear energy plant in Iran. Meanwhile, Iran is under useless sanctions from the United Nations and the United States for its nuclear weapons program. Indeed, Russia's diabolical plan is about to advance as Iran has vowed to share its nuclear technology with other Islamic nations. Meanwhile, Russia is arming the enemies of Israel.
Interfax news agency reports that Russia will be selling some 72 cruise missiles to Syria. In May, Russia also agreed to supply Syria with its MiG-29 fighter jets, Pantsir short-range air defense systems and armored vehicles. AFP reports that senior Israeli government officials are calling the Russian move irresponsible and a threat to the strategic balance in the region. Of particular concern for Israel is Syria's relationship with Iran and terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah, both of which have vowed to destroy Israel. For those who watch the prophecy clock, keep your eyes on Israel, Russia and Syria. For Isaiah 17:1 prophesies Damascus will someday be a "ruinous heap."

No Man Might Buy Or Sell Except He Has The Mark
There is not a more spine chilling chapter in the entire Bible than Revelation chapter 13. This chapter describes the rise to power of a demonically inspired world dictator, similar in nature to Adolph Hitler. He is called the Beast, but is better known as the Anti-Christ. He uses a world financial system to control the people, as no one can buy or sell unless they are linked by a mark with a number to this system. This is found in Revelation 13:16,17 with the number being 666. It seems that everyone knows about the number 666, even those with little knowledge of the Bible, as it is identified as the devil's number! This is probably one of the best known verses in all the Bible.
For centuries, the fulfillment of these verses was a mystery. The mark was believed to be a tattoo. Christians believed by faith that, just prior to the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus, a system would be in place where no one could buy or sell without this Mark. However, the understanding of these verses along with the possible fulfillment has really come into focus in the last 25 years.
There have been dramatic technological developments, which have spilled over to both the government and private industry on a world-wide scale. This technology, in the very near future, could monitor all buying and selling. The heart of this monitoring system is the computer and the digitization of all information.
The entire world is heading towards total computerization with a system that is linked world-wide through satellites and electronics. Literally, the day is now upon us that it will be possible to monitor all buying and selling. The computer and the world economic system are creating, at unbelievable speed, the conditions in which Revelation 13:16-18 could be fulfilled. It will soon not be possible to buy or sell without a computer being involved with the transaction.
How is this all coming about? The prophet Daniel predicted that at the time of the end, the period just prior to the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus, there would be a tremendous increase in knowledge.
Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Knowledge, and especially computer technology has exploded, and now in less than every two years knowledge doubles. Computer related technology only a few years old becomes obsolete. The ability to monitor and store vast amounts of information about people and have it on instant recall is now available to all levels of government. Society has reached the point where now there is a total computerization of all information.
This explosion of knowledge and computer technology has led to a nearly cashless society. The vast percentage of transactions today is now electronic while the use of cash and checks are becoming less and less. Many banks are phasing out checks. Many items are so expensive that it makes it impossible to carry large amounts of cash for the payment. The use of credit or debit cards is by far the most common instrument for purchasing an item.
A person may use a credit card virtually any place in the world. It has become the universal financial instrument throughout the entire world. This instrument is taken for granted today, but think how technologically advanced economics have become, when a person can make a purchase in a foreign country without currency! And, this purchase then is instantly registered to your account at home and the funds withdrawn!
The entire world is heading toward this system and the only way to avoid it will be by bartering. The technological ability to operate a world-wide cashless economic system is now in place for a good percentage of the world. The elimination of cash is all that is needed to bring this system totally on line. The present world-wide economic crisis with the collapse of many currencies and economies is a major indicator that a world-wide cashless economy is very possible.
Along with the move toward a developing cashless society is a universal numbering system. America already has one called the Social Security number (SSN). This number is used for nearly everything. If you open any type of bank account or make any financial transaction, it is needed. It is required for a driver's license, to obtain medical coverage and virtually all contact with government.
This number is the common denominator which allows the various levels of government, along with business to merge computerized information about you. The social security number has become the universal key in society. Whether you realize or not, your identification is already by number. Try dealing with the government, or obtaining a job, or opening a bank account without this number!
The use of this number is endless, but it is a universal numbering system. It is very possible that in the future the government could monitor all buying and selling through a numbering system which includes in some way the SSN. All commercial transactions would be linked to government computers and, through the SSN, the government could allow or block transactions. The technology to do this is available now. All it would take is a concerted effort by the government, and in a relatively short time this system could be operational. The computer hardware and software is in place along with the electronic connections through fiber optics, the internet, and satellites. What is needed is the directive to accomplish it.
In addition, crime and terrorism factor into the development of “The 666 Surveillance System.” Crime and now terrorism are major factors in the unification of this surveillance system. White collar crime is a key in merging many independent arms of the government. To combat fraud and schemes, government computers are being merged. What has developed is a national computer network to fight white collar crime. In addition, there is a vast merging of computers to identify and thwart terrorists. Huge data bases have been created to watch for terrorists. This includes monitoring travel and telephone calls.
The effort to combat crime and terrorism is creating a vast world-wide interlocking computer network. This network will be the very heart of the coming surveillance system. As technology increases, more and more information about individuals will be compiled and centralized until no one can by or sell without the government being aware. What is ironic is that crime is at the heart of creating this system. On one hand, people are inspired by satan to steal or commit acts of terrorism, while on the other satan then uses these acts to create “The 666 Surveillance System!” I doubt whether this system could come together without crime and terrorism.
The above Bible verses mention a mark on the right hand as the source of the numbering system allowing one to buy or sell. Again, the technology is nearly complete to allow this. What has been developed is a small chip that can be placed in the body, right under the skin. This small chip is about the size of a grain of rice. It gives off a signal that can be detected by various scanners. This technology has advanced now to the point, where people with a chip in their hand can have it function as a credit card or signal to unlock doors or turn on computers. In Mexico , officials in the government use this type of chip for security. In order to gain access to certain locations or computer files, a person needs the chip in the hand with the correct code!
This chip has been used for years to identify pets and livestock. Its function was perfected on animals, and now the technology is nearly in place where it can be used in humans for all types of applications. This would have been radical thinking 20 years ago, but today the technology is falling into place to activate such a system on a massive scale.
When studying the Bible about the Greek word "mark," it gives the impression of being engraved or etched. It could represent a stamp, maybe a tattoo or more like a branding. The chip under the skin does not fit this description. The technology fits but not the chip under the skin. There is technology now being developed where by a tattoo type of stamp is placed on the skin which contains electronic circuitry on it! The technology is being perfected as I am writing this. What I see in the future is a form of stamping on the skin that will be able to send and receive information. This stamp or electronic tattoo will be visible for all to see, and it will not be a chip hidden under the skin. Maybe the tremendous surge in tattoos is a precursor to what is coming. Years ago hardly anyone had a tattoo, but now a very large percentage of the population does. Is it possible that this surge in tattoos is preparing the population to receive the "Mark of the Beast"?
What appears will happen in the near future is that technology reaches the point where all buying and selling will come under the control of the government. The governments of the world through technology will have nearly complete control over people's lives. All information will merge into a massive computer system which I identify as "The 666 Surveillance System." This massive system will be tied into sources of information such as passports, GPS, UPC, RFID (Radio-frequency identification), biometrics, security cameras, cellphones, iPods, etc., in order to monitor all travel and information. The use of the Internet will be monitored. All financial information and medical records will be tied into this surveillance system. The government will control people through legislation such as Environmental, Banking reform, and Health Care.
This legislation will grant government more control over the lives of the people, and the advanced technology will be applied to the details of the law. This system is already in play. To complete this system, it is just a matter of tying it all together and applying the controls. There will be no way to avoid or hide from this system. It is the advanced technology which makes it so dangerous. The control of buying and selling is just the tip of the iceberg of this coming surveillance system.
All the advanced technology that is now in place or coming on line will be used to create this system. It will be the ultimate "mouse trap." The electronic marvels we now live with and make life easier will be harnessed and used by a Fascist type state for complete control. What is needed is a cataclysmic world economic crisis to create the atmosphere for world unity which will drive the desperate masses of people to accept it.
Right now the world is on the verge of such a crisis. There are numerous world and financial leaders who are calling for a New World Order. They are out in the open calling for a one-world economic and political system. (See my blog: johnmcternan.name as I have posted many articles about the New World Order being out in the open.) A world economic collapse, with the chaos that followed, would create the situation, which could forge a New World Order virtually overnight.
Adding to the instability of the world's economy, an all out war in the Middle East would strike fear throughout the world. Such a war would collapse the world economy as the price of oil would spike to unprecedented heights and paralyze the financial markets. Even a spike for a short time would collapse the fragile world economy.
In addition to the world economy, it is highly likely that during this war Israel would resort to nuclear weapons. The Bible details that entire Arab nations are going to disappear and in some cases, become uninhabitable. The nations directly involved are Egypt , Jordan , Syria , Lebanon , the Palestinians, Iraq and possibly Saudi Arabia . It is highly probable that other nations like the United States will be involved. There is the possibility of millions dead with tens of millions of refugees. This war would create fear throughout the world and create new political alliances. People will become overwhelmed by fear because of the magnitude of both the war and the world-wide economic collapse. The combination of the war and economic meltdown could simply overwhelm the nations.
At this time, the New World Order will come to the forefront. It will use all the advanced technology available to create a world government and economic system for controlling the people. A man will rise to leadership over this system. The Bible refers to him as the antichrist, Beast or "Man of Sin." He will have the answers for the people's fears and will implement "The 666 Surveillance System" with nearly complete control over people's lives. The Beast will be just like Hitler or Stalin only on a world-wide scale. And, just like tyrants of the past, he will use all available science and technology to control the people and destroy all who resist him. All the tyrants of the past did this, and, according to the Bible, the future Anti-Christ will follow this pattern.
What will happen is that all who have rejected the Holy God of Israel and the Lord Jesus will be herded into this system as evidence of judgment by God. Satan is the one who created this system, through the minds of scientists and a vast array of other people, building the ultimate trap, to ensnare the masses of people with no way out. The technology for accomplishing this is now in place. All that is needed is the crisis to create the conditions for the people desiring this false security and for the masses to accept it. The technological explosion we are now witnessing has an end game. It will result in the perfect trap for everyone who rejects the Bible and the salvation God offers through the Lord Jesus Christ.
The coming Beast is different than was Hitler or Stalin in that he demands worship. He will be both a political and religious leader. He is going to use "The 666 Surveillance System" as part of His religious system. The Bible always associates together the Mark of the Beast with the Image of the Beast. In the book of Revelation, these two are always mentioned together as part of a worship system. This is found in Revelation 13:14-18; 14:9-11; 15:2; 16:2; 19:20; and 20:4. The following is an example of the two found together:
Revelation16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
I fully explain the Image of the Beast in my article titled Singularity and the Image of the Beast. It appears that man through technology also is racing to create a cyborg type creature that will become the exact image of the Beast. When it is completed and in operation, the Beast will require worship of both him and his Image. The political, economic and religious realms will be merged into one system headed by one man. The technology that now surrounds us will be used to create both the Image of the Beast and the surveillance system. There is an end game at play, even though the vast majority of people at this time cannot see where this is all heading; however, the Bible explains the direction where this technology is heading.
When studying the linkage between the Image of the Beast and his mark, it appears that receiving the mark is the initiation into this religious system of worship. The mark will be the visible seal that a person is a member and will worship the antichrist and his Image. The Bible states the mark will be in the right hand or forehead. It is possible that the mark in the forehead is reserved for high ranking officials in this system, while the hand is for the average person.
Receiving the mark will then allow the person to function and live in this 666 system. No person will be tricked into joining, but they will know exactly that this system rejects the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. This mark is not just for buying or selling, but it is the initiation into a religious system of worship. This will be absolutely clear to all who receive it.
If a person refuses to worship the antichrist and receive the mark, he is killed.
Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. (8) And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (9) If any man have an ear, let him hear. (10) He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
The Bible is very clear that once a person receives the Mark of the Beast and is initiated into this 666 system, he is damned forever with no hope of escaping from it. With the strongest possible wording, the Bible warns that whoever receives the Mark is forever separated from God in a literal place called hell.
Revelation 14:9-11 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
While it is very clear from the Bible that anyone who receives that Mark will be eternally separated from God, I think there is a human angle to this damnation. It might be possible that people who receive the Mark will damn themselves.
For years, I have been studying science and technology regarding the interfacing of man and machines. When both are fully integrated and merged, what scientists refer to as Singularity will have been reached. I regularly post on my blog updates how science is progressing with this merging. What I noticed is that every aspect and function of the brain is being unraveled and digitized. The exact location of moral decisions and spiritual awareness has been identified along with every other aspect of human thinking and emotions. The scientists soon will be able to wipe out thoughts in the mind and affect moral decisions. Right now this tampering with the mind is done by implanting a computer chip into the brain. In the near future, technology will advance to where most of the tampering will be done externally.
It is very possible that when a person receives the Mark of the Beast, it will also involve altering the thinking process. The location in the brain for decision making or worship will be tampered with in such a way that it will be impossible to change. By taking the Mark, the person is forever locked into worshiping the Beast and his Image, and thus has damned himself for eternity. Remember, all this advanced technology has an end game. In part, it will be used to seal people into “The 666 Surveillance System” with no way of repentance from it and turning to the Lord Jesus for salvation.
The Bible mentions two marks. One is taken to reject God and enter into a system that is in complete rebellion against Him. This mark leads directly to eternal death. The second is for those that have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. They are marked with the name of God and will live forever with the Lord Jesus in heaven. One mark is for eternal death, while the other is for eternal life. There will only be two marks in eternity.
How will you be marked? If you are not marked with the name of God, now is the time to be sealed by the Lord Jesus for eternal life with Him. Please do not delay. What is needed is repentance from sin and turning to God by confessing the Lord Jesus as your Savior from sin. Events are now racing to fulfill the Mark and Image of the Beast. Please do not delay, but turn to the Lord Jesus and come under the Mark of His name on you!

Understanding the $60 Billion Saudi Arms Deal: It’s About Iran - Jonathan Tepperman – www.theatlantic.com
Last week, the Obama administration unveiled a massive new US-Saudi arms deal. In the days since, the proposed package–which still needs congressional approval–has received relatively little attention from the press and foreign policy pundits (one exception, I should note, is my boss at Eurasia Group, Ian Bremmer). That in itself is surprising, as the deal is striking on at least three counts.
The first is its sheer size. At $60 billion, the sale–which would include 84 F-15 fighter planes, 70 Apache attack helicopters, 72 Blackhawk troop-transport helicopters, and 36 Little Bird surveillance copters–would dwarf any previous US arms deal ever. It’s particularly striking in a year when US weapons sales worldwide are down 9 percent.
Second is the fact that, so far at least, the Israeli government–which has often and understandably sought to block arms transactions with Arab states in the past (and just this weekend objected to a new Russian sale of cruise missiles to Syria), has yet to utter a peep of protest. In fact, sources suggest the Israelis have actually blessed the Saudi purchase, in part because the weapons systems are less sophisticated that what Israel gets access to. For example, the Israelis are currently slated to soon buy state-of-the-art F-35s, while the planes the Saudis will be getting are updated versions of a 34-year-old model.
But the real story behind the sale–and it’s an element I’ve yet to see discussed very widely–is the way it may reflect a subtle but significant shift in the US posture toward Iran.
It shouldn’t surprise anyone to learn the whole deal is actually about Iran. After all, when the US took out Saddam Hussein, it eliminated the Saudis’ only other real enemy except al Qaeda (and you can’t use fighter planes against jihadis). The Obama administration admitted as much last week; as a senior administration official told the New York Times on Friday, the deal is meant to show the Iranians “that [their] nuclear program is not getting them leverage over their neighbors, that they are not getting an advantage.”
What is surprising, however, is that this deal seems to represent a highly controversial shift in how the administration plans to deal with Iran: from what wonks call (borrowing language from the Cold War) rollback to what’s known as containment.
In plain language, the difference is between a policy aimed at stopping Iran from getting nukes (rollback) and one aimed at stopping Iran from using them if, or when, it does (containment). A look at the nature of the weapons Washington is planning to sell Riyadh, which reportedly also include the THAAD anti-ballistic missile defense system and an upgrade to the Saudis’ Patriot batteries, makes it clear that the package is meant to help one of Iran’s largest neighbors (and a longtime target of Iranian provocation) cope with nuclear-armed and potentially more belligerent Persian state.
Now, this may be highly rational; it certainly seems that way to me. Despite Washington’s success this spring passing a new round of sanctions against Iran and gumming up Tehran’s illicit weapons program through sabotage and other means, the mullahs continue to make slow progress toward a bomb. Ultimately, nothing short of a military strike is going to keep them from getting one (if that; there’s in fact a huge debate over whether even a US or Israeli strike could set back Iran’s march to nuclear precipice by more than a year or so).
But shifting from rollback to containment, even if it’s the more realistic policy and done quietly, is still a dangerous move for the Obama administration, for several reasons. First, making the switch by funneling unprecedented quantities of firepower to the Saudis could fall flat, or even backfire. The kingdom has already been the largest purchaser of US arms for some time now, and despite that fact, has proved utterly incapable of defending itself and its massive oil fields. Second, by upping the quantity of weapons dramatically, the administration risks igniting a regional arms race. (It’s worth noting that in 2008, the tiny United Arab Emirates actually spent even more on armaments than the Saudis did.). Apart from its inherent dangers, such a escalatory cycle would pose a major PR problem for a White House that has made global arms reduction a major part of its policy agenda.
The third issue is by far the most delicate. Since taking office, skeptical hawks in both Washington and Jerusalem have watched the Obama administration like… well, hawks for signs that it may not be prepared to stand behind its avowed commitment to keep all “options on the table” when it comes to Iran–code words for preserving the option to use a military strike if all other means of halting Iran’s nuclear program fail. Maintaining the credibility of that threat is critical to the administration at the moment, both because it keeps the Israelis from taking matters into their own hands and because it gives Iran extra motivation to consider negotiations.
To persuade the doubters of its mettle, the administration has resorted to a variety of measures in recent years, including engaging in contingency planning, holding frequent briefings with the Israelis, and trotting out Rahm Emmanuel to insist to Jeffrey Goldberg that it had not ruled out “counterproliferation by force.” In recent months, these gestures seemed to be succeeding. But if failsafe moves like this Saudi sale start persuading the skeptics that Obama has lost his nerve, it could unleash a whole set of nasty consequences for the administration. These include strident attacks from Republicans going into the midterm elections and the presidential campaigning that will start soon after. They could also include a range of destabilizing Israeli moves, from withdrawing from the peace process–which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu probably only engaged in to secure US cooperation on Iran–to reconsidering a military strike of its own.
None of this means the Saudi deal is a mistake. But it does mean the stakes are a lot higher than most people seems to recognize.

A group of highly respected national security professionals dubbed “Team B II” are releasing a major new study today of the threat America faces from Islamic shariah law currently creeping into our legal system.

This much-needed analysis takes a fresh look at shariah law, placing vital information in the hands of average, everyday Americans and intelligence officials alike and offers a chilling threat assessment of shariah’s crushing incompatibility with the U.S. Constitution.
The report is being released today at a Capitol Hill press conference by members of the “Team B II” threat assessment team. Those team members include former Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence Lieutenant General William G. “Jerry” Boykin, former Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew C. McCarthy and Center for Security Policy President Frank Gaffney.
Members of Congress also present to support the release are Representatives Trent Franks (R.-Ariz.), Pete Hoekstra (R.-Mich.) and Michele Bachmann (R.-Minn.).
During the Cold War with Soviet Russia, analysis from the CIA and other intelligence agencies had missed the mark by basing threat assessments on input from policymakers, not on actual, factual threat doctrine. In 1976, “Team B” was formed to take a more thorough, realistic look at the enemy.
Their 1976 work product challenged then-prevailing official U.S. government intelligence estimates of the intentions and offensive capabilities of the Soviet Union and the policy known as "détente" that such estimates ostensibly justified.
Given today’s politically correct climate, the likelihood of a federal government-driven “Team B” threat assessment scenario at this crucial time is remote.
This study from highly respected, top intelligence and policy experts is the result of months of analysis, discussion and drafting and focuses on the preeminent totalitarian threat of our time: the legal-political-military doctrine known within Islam as shariah.
Other distinguished members of “Team B II” are: former CIA Director R. James Woolsey; Lt. Gen. Harry “Ed” Soyster, former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency; Adm. James “Ace” Lyons, former commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet; Ambassador Henry Cooper, former director of Strategic Defense Initiative; and Joseph Schmitz, former inspector general at the Department of Defense.
The analysis provides a comprehensive "second opinion" to official U.S. government assessments and characterizations of the shariah threat. It offers examples from history and from widely accepted sources of authority in the Islamic community to present the unfiltered nature of shariah law, challenging today’s assumptions euphemistically described as "violent extremism"—as well as the policies of co-existence, accommodation and submission that are rooted in those assumptions.

Tolerance in America Versus the Quran
“This brief examination of American principles establishes that American principles are principles of liberty are rooted in mutual toleration. It follows that, in the United States, liberty was never intended to tolerate the intolerant and its citizens were never intended to tolerate totalitarian doctrines. Put differently, intolerant, totalitarian doctrines are in direct conflict with the stated purpose of American government ‘to secure these rights [endowed by their Creator].’
“Even a fairly superficial reading of the Quran and other primary source documents of shariah reveals that it is a political-military-legal doctrine, rather than a religion as defined by the American standards mentioned above. The prominent Islamic scholar Abdul Mawdudi concurs with this assessment, saying: “But the truth is that Islam is not the name of a ‘Religion,’ nor is ‘Muslim’ the title of a ‘Nation.’ In reality, Islam is a revolutionary ideology and program which seeks to alter the social order of the whole world and rebuild it in conformity with its own tenets and ideals.”
“Shariah is, moreover, a doctrine that mandates the rule of Allah over all aspects of society. Specifically, in contrast—and fundamentally at odds—with the Virginia Statute for Religious Liberty, shariah holds that God did not create the mind free, but in subservience to the will of Allah (as detailed in shariah). The condition of human beings is submission to Allah, not freedom.”
From submission, dhimmitude and shariah blasphemy codes to “fear as reason” policy, this analysis offers a stunning look at what “moderates” and “violent extremists” alike desire—including so-called “moderates” like Ground Zero mosque Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf.
They seek an America that is “shariah compliant.”
Conclusions offered in the report are an eye-opener. Another sampling:
“Under successive presidencies, the United States has failed to understand, let alone counter successfully, the threat posed to its constitutional form of government and free society by shariah. In the past, such failures were reckless. Today, they are intolerable.
“The preceding pages document shariah’s true supremacist and totalitarian character. They make clear its incompatibility with the Constitution as the only source of law for this country. As we have seen, shariah explicitly seeks to replace representative governance with an Islamic state, to destroy sovereign and national polities with a global caliphate.
“If shariah is thus viewed as an alien legal system hostile to and in contravention of the U.S. Constitution, and as one which dictates both violent and non-violent means to a capable audience ready to act imminently, then logically, those who seek to establish shariah in America—whether by violent means or by stealth—can be said to be engaged in criminal sedition, not the protected practice of a religion.”
And a further sampling of the recommendations in the report reflect the seriousness of the threat we face from an ideology that has covertly permeated our government institutions.
“While detailed recommendations for adopting a more prudential and effective strategy for surviving shariah’s onslaught are beyond the scope of this study, several policy and programmatic changes are clearly in order. These include:
• U.S. policy-makers, financiers, businessmen, judges, journalists, community leaders and the public at large must be equipped with an accurate understanding of the nature of shariah and the necessity of keeping America shariah-free. At a minimum, this will entail resisting—rather than acquiescing to—the concerted efforts now being made to allow that alien and barbaric legal code to become established in this country as an alternate, parallel system to the Constitution and the laws enacted pursuant to it. Arguably, this is already in effect for those who have taken an oath to “support and defend” the Constitution, because the requirement is subsumed in that oath.
• U.S. government agencies and organizations should cease their outreach to Muslim communities through Muslim Brotherhood fronts whose mission is to destroy our country from within as such practices are both reckless and counterproductive. Indeed, these activities serve to legitimate, protect and expand the influence of our enemies. They conduce to no successful legal outcome that cannot be better advanced via aggressive prosecution of terrorists, terror-funders and other lawbreakers. It also discourages patriotic Muslims from providing actual assistance to the U.S. government lest they be marked for ostracism or worse by the Brothers and other shariah-adherent members of their communities.
• In keeping with Article VI of the Constitution, extend bans currently in effect that bar members of hate groups such as the Ku Klux Klan from holding positions of trust in federal, state, or local governments or the armed forces of the United States to those who espouse or support shariah. Instead, every effort should be made to identify and empower Muslims who are willing publicly to denounce shariah.
• Practices that promote shariah—notably, shariah-compliant finance and the establishment or promotion in public spaces or with public funds of facilities and activities that give preferential treatment to shariah’s adherents—are incompatible with the Constitution and the freedoms it enshrines and must be proscribed.
• Sedition is prohibited by law in the United States. To the extent that imams and mosques are being used to advocate shariah in America, they are promoting seditious activity and should be warned that they will not be immune from prosecution.”

In Ezekiel 38, the LORD speaks of a war where Gog leads Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya to "come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes (38:16)." The conventional wisdom is that Gog is Russia, Persia is Iran, Ethiopia and Libya are Northern Africa. And this war is a major event marking the end time prophecies. In recent weeks, announcements in the news media point toward that development as Russia is reestablishing itself as a supplier of weapons and weapons technology.
Consider that Russia, when it was the Soviet Union, once held strong ties to the terrorist Middle East especially with support and weapons sales to the Palestinian Liberation Organization, now the Palestinian Authority, and to Iran, Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Libya and more. When President Reagan's policies bankrupted the Soviet military machine and dispersed the Soviet empire, those relationships in the Middle East were put on hold. But since Russia has recovered economically and its military industry is once again thriving, it is making new headway with the dark side of the Middle East--Islam. Russia, however, is taking a more aggressive, deceptive and ultimately dangerous approach.
For nearly a decade, Russia has been playing a cat and mouse diplomatic game to block sanctions against Iran for its nuclear program. All the while, Russia and China were supplying Iran with nuclear materials, nuclear technology and missile technology. Now Russia has flipped the switch on its so-called nuclear energy plant in Iran. Meanwhile, Iran is under useless sanctions from the United Nations and the United States for its nuclear weapons program. Indeed, Russia's diabolical plan is about to advance as Iran has vowed to share its nuclear technology with other Islamic nations. Meanwhile, Russia is arming the enemies of Israel.
Interfax news agency reports that Russia will be selling some 72 cruise missiles to Syria. In May, Russia also agreed to supply Syria with its MiG-29 fighter jets, Pantsir short-range air defense systems and armored vehicles. AFP reports that senior Israeli government officials are calling the Russian move irresponsible and a threat to the strategic balance in the region. Of particular concern for Israel is Syria's relationship with Iran and terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah, both of which have vowed to destroy Israel. For those who watch the prophecy clock, keep your eyes on Israel, Russia and Syria. For Isaiah 17:1 prophesies Damascus will someday be a "ruinous heap."

No Man Might Buy Or Sell Except He Has The Mark
There is not a more spine chilling chapter in the entire Bible than Revelation chapter 13. This chapter describes the rise to power of a demonically inspired world dictator, similar in nature to Adolph Hitler. He is called the Beast, but is better known as the Anti-Christ. He uses a world financial system to control the people, as no one can buy or sell unless they are linked by a mark with a number to this system. This is found in Revelation 13:16,17 with the number being 666. It seems that everyone knows about the number 666, even those with little knowledge of the Bible, as it is identified as the devil's number! This is probably one of the best known verses in all the Bible.
For centuries, the fulfillment of these verses was a mystery. The mark was believed to be a tattoo. Christians believed by faith that, just prior to the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus, a system would be in place where no one could buy or sell without this Mark. However, the understanding of these verses along with the possible fulfillment has really come into focus in the last 25 years.
There have been dramatic technological developments, which have spilled over to both the government and private industry on a world-wide scale. This technology, in the very near future, could monitor all buying and selling. The heart of this monitoring system is the computer and the digitization of all information.
The entire world is heading towards total computerization with a system that is linked world-wide through satellites and electronics. Literally, the day is now upon us that it will be possible to monitor all buying and selling. The computer and the world economic system are creating, at unbelievable speed, the conditions in which Revelation 13:16-18 could be fulfilled. It will soon not be possible to buy or sell without a computer being involved with the transaction.
How is this all coming about? The prophet Daniel predicted that at the time of the end, the period just prior to the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus, there would be a tremendous increase in knowledge.
Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Knowledge, and especially computer technology has exploded, and now in less than every two years knowledge doubles. Computer related technology only a few years old becomes obsolete. The ability to monitor and store vast amounts of information about people and have it on instant recall is now available to all levels of government. Society has reached the point where now there is a total computerization of all information.
This explosion of knowledge and computer technology has led to a nearly cashless society. The vast percentage of transactions today is now electronic while the use of cash and checks are becoming less and less. Many banks are phasing out checks. Many items are so expensive that it makes it impossible to carry large amounts of cash for the payment. The use of credit or debit cards is by far the most common instrument for purchasing an item.
A person may use a credit card virtually any place in the world. It has become the universal financial instrument throughout the entire world. This instrument is taken for granted today, but think how technologically advanced economics have become, when a person can make a purchase in a foreign country without currency! And, this purchase then is instantly registered to your account at home and the funds withdrawn!
The entire world is heading toward this system and the only way to avoid it will be by bartering. The technological ability to operate a world-wide cashless economic system is now in place for a good percentage of the world. The elimination of cash is all that is needed to bring this system totally on line. The present world-wide economic crisis with the collapse of many currencies and economies is a major indicator that a world-wide cashless economy is very possible.
Along with the move toward a developing cashless society is a universal numbering system. America already has one called the Social Security number (SSN). This number is used for nearly everything. If you open any type of bank account or make any financial transaction, it is needed. It is required for a driver's license, to obtain medical coverage and virtually all contact with government.
This number is the common denominator which allows the various levels of government, along with business to merge computerized information about you. The social security number has become the universal key in society. Whether you realize or not, your identification is already by number. Try dealing with the government, or obtaining a job, or opening a bank account without this number!
The use of this number is endless, but it is a universal numbering system. It is very possible that in the future the government could monitor all buying and selling through a numbering system which includes in some way the SSN. All commercial transactions would be linked to government computers and, through the SSN, the government could allow or block transactions. The technology to do this is available now. All it would take is a concerted effort by the government, and in a relatively short time this system could be operational. The computer hardware and software is in place along with the electronic connections through fiber optics, the internet, and satellites. What is needed is the directive to accomplish it.
In addition, crime and terrorism factor into the development of “The 666 Surveillance System.” Crime and now terrorism are major factors in the unification of this surveillance system. White collar crime is a key in merging many independent arms of the government. To combat fraud and schemes, government computers are being merged. What has developed is a national computer network to fight white collar crime. In addition, there is a vast merging of computers to identify and thwart terrorists. Huge data bases have been created to watch for terrorists. This includes monitoring travel and telephone calls.
The effort to combat crime and terrorism is creating a vast world-wide interlocking computer network. This network will be the very heart of the coming surveillance system. As technology increases, more and more information about individuals will be compiled and centralized until no one can by or sell without the government being aware. What is ironic is that crime is at the heart of creating this system. On one hand, people are inspired by satan to steal or commit acts of terrorism, while on the other satan then uses these acts to create “The 666 Surveillance System!” I doubt whether this system could come together without crime and terrorism.
The above Bible verses mention a mark on the right hand as the source of the numbering system allowing one to buy or sell. Again, the technology is nearly complete to allow this. What has been developed is a small chip that can be placed in the body, right under the skin. This small chip is about the size of a grain of rice. It gives off a signal that can be detected by various scanners. This technology has advanced now to the point, where people with a chip in their hand can have it function as a credit card or signal to unlock doors or turn on computers. In Mexico , officials in the government use this type of chip for security. In order to gain access to certain locations or computer files, a person needs the chip in the hand with the correct code!
This chip has been used for years to identify pets and livestock. Its function was perfected on animals, and now the technology is nearly in place where it can be used in humans for all types of applications. This would have been radical thinking 20 years ago, but today the technology is falling into place to activate such a system on a massive scale.
When studying the Bible about the Greek word "mark," it gives the impression of being engraved or etched. It could represent a stamp, maybe a tattoo or more like a branding. The chip under the skin does not fit this description. The technology fits but not the chip under the skin. There is technology now being developed where by a tattoo type of stamp is placed on the skin which contains electronic circuitry on it! The technology is being perfected as I am writing this. What I see in the future is a form of stamping on the skin that will be able to send and receive information. This stamp or electronic tattoo will be visible for all to see, and it will not be a chip hidden under the skin. Maybe the tremendous surge in tattoos is a precursor to what is coming. Years ago hardly anyone had a tattoo, but now a very large percentage of the population does. Is it possible that this surge in tattoos is preparing the population to receive the "Mark of the Beast"?
What appears will happen in the near future is that technology reaches the point where all buying and selling will come under the control of the government. The governments of the world through technology will have nearly complete control over people's lives. All information will merge into a massive computer system which I identify as "The 666 Surveillance System." This massive system will be tied into sources of information such as passports, GPS, UPC, RFID (Radio-frequency identification), biometrics, security cameras, cellphones, iPods, etc., in order to monitor all travel and information. The use of the Internet will be monitored. All financial information and medical records will be tied into this surveillance system. The government will control people through legislation such as Environmental, Banking reform, and Health Care.
This legislation will grant government more control over the lives of the people, and the advanced technology will be applied to the details of the law. This system is already in play. To complete this system, it is just a matter of tying it all together and applying the controls. There will be no way to avoid or hide from this system. It is the advanced technology which makes it so dangerous. The control of buying and selling is just the tip of the iceberg of this coming surveillance system.
All the advanced technology that is now in place or coming on line will be used to create this system. It will be the ultimate "mouse trap." The electronic marvels we now live with and make life easier will be harnessed and used by a Fascist type state for complete control. What is needed is a cataclysmic world economic crisis to create the atmosphere for world unity which will drive the desperate masses of people to accept it.
Right now the world is on the verge of such a crisis. There are numerous world and financial leaders who are calling for a New World Order. They are out in the open calling for a one-world economic and political system. (See my blog: johnmcternan.name as I have posted many articles about the New World Order being out in the open.) A world economic collapse, with the chaos that followed, would create the situation, which could forge a New World Order virtually overnight.
Adding to the instability of the world's economy, an all out war in the Middle East would strike fear throughout the world. Such a war would collapse the world economy as the price of oil would spike to unprecedented heights and paralyze the financial markets. Even a spike for a short time would collapse the fragile world economy.
In addition to the world economy, it is highly likely that during this war Israel would resort to nuclear weapons. The Bible details that entire Arab nations are going to disappear and in some cases, become uninhabitable. The nations directly involved are Egypt , Jordan , Syria , Lebanon , the Palestinians, Iraq and possibly Saudi Arabia . It is highly probable that other nations like the United States will be involved. There is the possibility of millions dead with tens of millions of refugees. This war would create fear throughout the world and create new political alliances. People will become overwhelmed by fear because of the magnitude of both the war and the world-wide economic collapse. The combination of the war and economic meltdown could simply overwhelm the nations.
At this time, the New World Order will come to the forefront. It will use all the advanced technology available to create a world government and economic system for controlling the people. A man will rise to leadership over this system. The Bible refers to him as the antichrist, Beast or "Man of Sin." He will have the answers for the people's fears and will implement "The 666 Surveillance System" with nearly complete control over people's lives. The Beast will be just like Hitler or Stalin only on a world-wide scale. And, just like tyrants of the past, he will use all available science and technology to control the people and destroy all who resist him. All the tyrants of the past did this, and, according to the Bible, the future Anti-Christ will follow this pattern.
What will happen is that all who have rejected the Holy God of Israel and the Lord Jesus will be herded into this system as evidence of judgment by God. Satan is the one who created this system, through the minds of scientists and a vast array of other people, building the ultimate trap, to ensnare the masses of people with no way out. The technology for accomplishing this is now in place. All that is needed is the crisis to create the conditions for the people desiring this false security and for the masses to accept it. The technological explosion we are now witnessing has an end game. It will result in the perfect trap for everyone who rejects the Bible and the salvation God offers through the Lord Jesus Christ.
The coming Beast is different than was Hitler or Stalin in that he demands worship. He will be both a political and religious leader. He is going to use "The 666 Surveillance System" as part of His religious system. The Bible always associates together the Mark of the Beast with the Image of the Beast. In the book of Revelation, these two are always mentioned together as part of a worship system. This is found in Revelation 13:14-18; 14:9-11; 15:2; 16:2; 19:20; and 20:4. The following is an example of the two found together:
Revelation16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
I fully explain the Image of the Beast in my article titled Singularity and the Image of the Beast. It appears that man through technology also is racing to create a cyborg type creature that will become the exact image of the Beast. When it is completed and in operation, the Beast will require worship of both him and his Image. The political, economic and religious realms will be merged into one system headed by one man. The technology that now surrounds us will be used to create both the Image of the Beast and the surveillance system. There is an end game at play, even though the vast majority of people at this time cannot see where this is all heading; however, the Bible explains the direction where this technology is heading.
When studying the linkage between the Image of the Beast and his mark, it appears that receiving the mark is the initiation into this religious system of worship. The mark will be the visible seal that a person is a member and will worship the antichrist and his Image. The Bible states the mark will be in the right hand or forehead. It is possible that the mark in the forehead is reserved for high ranking officials in this system, while the hand is for the average person.
Receiving the mark will then allow the person to function and live in this 666 system. No person will be tricked into joining, but they will know exactly that this system rejects the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. This mark is not just for buying or selling, but it is the initiation into a religious system of worship. This will be absolutely clear to all who receive it.
If a person refuses to worship the antichrist and receive the mark, he is killed.
Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. (8) And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (9) If any man have an ear, let him hear. (10) He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
The Bible is very clear that once a person receives the Mark of the Beast and is initiated into this 666 system, he is damned forever with no hope of escaping from it. With the strongest possible wording, the Bible warns that whoever receives the Mark is forever separated from God in a literal place called hell.
Revelation 14:9-11 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
While it is very clear from the Bible that anyone who receives that Mark will be eternally separated from God, I think there is a human angle to this damnation. It might be possible that people who receive the Mark will damn themselves.
For years, I have been studying science and technology regarding the interfacing of man and machines. When both are fully integrated and merged, what scientists refer to as Singularity will have been reached. I regularly post on my blog updates how science is progressing with this merging. What I noticed is that every aspect and function of the brain is being unraveled and digitized. The exact location of moral decisions and spiritual awareness has been identified along with every other aspect of human thinking and emotions. The scientists soon will be able to wipe out thoughts in the mind and affect moral decisions. Right now this tampering with the mind is done by implanting a computer chip into the brain. In the near future, technology will advance to where most of the tampering will be done externally.
It is very possible that when a person receives the Mark of the Beast, it will also involve altering the thinking process. The location in the brain for decision making or worship will be tampered with in such a way that it will be impossible to change. By taking the Mark, the person is forever locked into worshiping the Beast and his Image, and thus has damned himself for eternity. Remember, all this advanced technology has an end game. In part, it will be used to seal people into “The 666 Surveillance System” with no way of repentance from it and turning to the Lord Jesus for salvation.
The Bible mentions two marks. One is taken to reject God and enter into a system that is in complete rebellion against Him. This mark leads directly to eternal death. The second is for those that have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. They are marked with the name of God and will live forever with the Lord Jesus in heaven. One mark is for eternal death, while the other is for eternal life. There will only be two marks in eternity.
How will you be marked? If you are not marked with the name of God, now is the time to be sealed by the Lord Jesus for eternal life with Him. Please do not delay. What is needed is repentance from sin and turning to God by confessing the Lord Jesus as your Savior from sin. Events are now racing to fulfill the Mark and Image of the Beast. Please do not delay, but turn to the Lord Jesus and come under the Mark of His name on you!

Could the Obama Administration be Blocking Gulf Clean-up Efforts Intentionally?
At first blush this sounds like an outlandish question with a conspiratorial twist. The corollary question goes like this: Is the Obama administration intentionally scaling back clean-up efforts in the Gulf in an attempt to maximize the damage so Democrats in Congress will have an excuse to take effective control over yet another major sector of our economy and impose crippling and draconian new taxes on the American people?

WAYNE ALLYN ROOT: Overwhelm the system
In case you haven't figured out what's happening, here's a wrap-up of the program:
Barack Obama is no fool. He is not incompetent. To the contrary, he is brilliant. He knows exactly what he's doing. He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis and social chaos -- thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within.
Barack Obama is my college classmate (Columbia University, class of '83). As Glenn Beck correctly predicted from day one, Obama is following the plan of Cloward & Piven, two professors at Columbia University. They outlined a plan to socialize America by overwhelming the system with government spending and entitlement demands. Add up the clues below. Taken individually they're alarming. Taken as a whole, it is a brilliant, Machiavellian game plan to turn the United States into a socialist/Marxist state with a permanent majority that desperately needs government for survival ... and can be counted on to always vote for bigger government. Why not? They have no responsibility to pay for it.
-- Universal health care. The health care bill had very little to do with health care. It had everything to do with unionizing millions of hospital and health care workers, as well as adding 15,000 to 20,000 new IRS agents (who will join government employee unions). Obama doesn't care that giving free health care to 30 million Americans will add trillions to the national debt. What he does care about is that it cements the dependence of those 30 million voters to Democrats and big government. Who but a socialist revolutionary would pass this reckless spending bill in the middle of a depression?
-- Cap and trade. Like health care legislation having nothing to do with health care, cap and trade has nothing to do with global warming. It has everything to do with redistribution of income, government control of the economy and a criminal payoff to Obama's biggest contributors. Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE, which owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC) can then be counted on to support everything Obama wants. They will kick-back hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions to Obama and the Democratic Party to keep them in power. The bonus is that all the new taxes on Americans with bigger cars, bigger homes and businesses helps Obama "spread the wealth around."
-- Make Puerto Rico a state. Why? Who's asking for a 51st state? Who's asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression? Certainly not American taxpayers. But this has been Obama's plan all along. His goal is to add two new Democrat senators, five Democrat congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government.
-- Legalize 12 million illegal immigrants. Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America. But it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters who can be counted on to support big government. Add another few trillion dollars in welfare, aid to dependent children, food stamps, free medical, education, tax credits for the poor, and eventually Social Security.
-- Stimulus and bailouts. Where did all that money go? It went to Democrat contributors, organizations (ACORN), and unions -- including billions of dollars to save or create jobs of government employees across the country. It went to save GM and Chrysler so that their employees could keep paying union dues. It went to AIG so that Goldman Sachs could be bailed out (after giving Obama almost $1 million in contributions). A staggering $125 billion went to teachers (thereby protecting their union dues). All those public employees will vote loyally Democrat to protect their bloated salaries and pensions that are bankrupting America. The country goes broke, future generations face a bleak future, but Obama, the Democrat Party, government, and the unions grow more powerful. The ends justify the means.
-- Raise taxes on small business owners, high-income earners, and job creators. Put the entire burden on only the top 20 percent of taxpayers, redistribute the income, punish success, and reward those who did nothing to deserve it (except vote for Obama). Reagan wanted to dramatically cut taxes in order to starve the government. Obama wants to dramatically raise taxes to starve his political opposition.
With the acts outlined above, Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by overwhelming the system.
Add it up and you've got the perfect Marxist scheme -- all devised by my Columbia University college classmate Barack Obama using the Cloward and Piven Plan.

OBAMA VS. PRESS FREEDOM

Jon Leibowitz, the chairman of Obama's Federal Trade Commission, is at the epicenter of a quiet movement to subsidize news organizations, a first step toward government control of the media. In our book, 2010: Take Back America -- A Battle Plan, we reported that he had commissioned a study to examine plans for a federal subsidy for news organizations. Among the measures under consideration are special tax treatment, exemption from antitrust laws and changes in copyright laws.
Now Leibowitz has begun to pounce. A May 24 working paper on "reinventing" the media proposes that the government impose fees on websites such as the Drudge Report that link to news websites or that it tax consumer electronics such as iPads, laptops and Kindles. Funds raised by these levies would be redistributed to traditional media outlets.
While Leibowitz distanced himself from the proposals for the taxes, calling them "a terrible idea," his comments appear to be related only to the levies proposed in the working paper. Nobody is commenting on the other part of his proposal -- a subsidy for news organizations.
By now, the Obama MO should be clear to all. As he has done with the banks, AIG and the car companies, he extends his left hand offering subsidies and then proffers his right laden with regulations. Should the government follow through on Leibowitz's ideas and enact special subsidies and tax breaks for news organizations, it will induce a degree of journalistic dependence on the whims of government not seen since the days when the early presidents bestowed government advertising on favored periodicals.
Is it too difficult to imagine that the Democrats might pass laws favoring news organizations, only to question -- as former White House communications director Anita Dunn did -- whether or not Fox News is a news organization or an "arm of the Republican Party"? We can see a future in which news media are reluctant to be too partisan or opinionated for fear that they would endanger their public subsidy.
Once such a subsidy is extended to news organizations, every company in the business must have it. Otherwise, the competitive advantage for the subsidized companies would prove too steep an obstacle to overcome.
In all the attention that has been given to the idea of an Internet tax on news aggregation sites and on tech equipment -- trial balloons that would obviously be shot down -- very little attention has been focused on the expenditure side of the proposal -- the subsidy of news organizations.
But The Wall Street Journal reported six months ago that Leibowitz had commissioned a study to determine "whether the government should aid struggling news organizations which are suffering from a collapse in advertising revenues as the Internet upends their centuries-old business model." Among the steps under consideration are changing "the way the industry is regulated, from making news-gathering companies exempt from antitrust laws to granting them special tax treatment to making changes to copyright laws."
These are exactly the kind of subsidies that could and would trigger government oversight and control.
Look at how radio stations squirm when their licenses are up for renewal before the FCC. We can imagine news organizations pulling their punches in order not to antagonize the hand that feeds them.
The Leibowitz study, and the subsidy proposals that are likely to emerge from it, represent a chilling threat to the First Amendment and to our civil liberties.

Impromptu Pro Israel Ralley: Two Became Twenty

It was a quiet Friday, one in which I wanted to study and prepare for the coming Shabbat, when my phone rang. Renee said, "Did you get the flyer? The one about the CAIR anti-Israel rally this afternoon at 4:30? I thought you might want to do something about it."
"No, I didn't get the flyer. What's happening." And that began the end of a quiet afternoon.
CAIR - Council on American-Islamic Relations - was sponsoring a rally from 4:30 to 6:00 to "to decry Israel's attack on humanitarian aid ship share." Probably the last thing in the world I wanted to do on this very hot June afternoon was to stand on a street corner and protest the protestors. I thought about it for a moment. Could I, in all honesty and integrity, sit back in my comfortable, air conditioned home and do nothing? And what about my ten-year-old granddaughter who was with me until her parents got off work. Should I take her to a rally like this that could conceivably turn dangerous?

Our World: Hamas rises in the West

By backing the terrorist group against Israel, western countries are backing Hamas against Fatah and Islamist states against ME moderates.
Since the navy’s May 31 takeover of the Turkish-Hamas flotilla, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and his advisers have deliberated around the clock about how to contend with the US-led international stampede against Israel. But their ultimate decision to form an investigatory committee led by a retired Supreme Court justice and overseen by foreign observers indicates that they failed to recognize the nature of the international campaign facing us today.
Led by US President Barack Obama, the West has cast its lot with Hamas. It is not surprising that Obama is siding with Hamas. His close associates are leading members of the pro-Hamas Free Gaza outfit. Obama’s friends, former Weather Underground terrorists Bernadine Dohrn and William Ayres participated in a Free Gaza trip to Egypt in January. Their aim was to force the Egyptians to allow them into Gaza with 1,300 fellow Hamas supporters. Their mission was led by Code Pink leader and Obama fund-raiser Jodie Evans. Another leading member of Free Gaza is James Abourezk, a former US senator from South Dakota.
All of these people have open lines of communication not only to the Obama White House, but to Obama himself.
Obama has made his sympathy for the Muslim Brotherhood clear several times since entering office. The Muslim Brotherhood’s progeny include Hamas, al-Qaida and the Egyptian Islamic Jihad. Last June, Obama infuriated the Egyptian government when he insisted on inviting leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood to attend his speech at Al Azhar University in Cairo. His administration’s decision to deport Hamas deserter and Israeli counterterror operative Mosab Hassan Yousef to the Palestinian Authority where he will be killed is the latest sign of its support for radical Islam.
Given Obama’s attitude toward jihadists and the radical leftists who support them, his decision to support Hamas against Israel makes sense. What is alarming however is how leaders of the free world are now all siding with Hamas. That support has become ever more apparent since the Mossad’s alleged killing of Hamas terror master Mahmoud al-Mabhouh at his hotel in Dubai in January.
In the aftermath of Mabhouh’s death, both Britain and Australia joined the Dubai-initiated bandwagon in striking out against Israel. Israel considers both countries allies, or at least friendly and has close intelligence ties with both. Yet despite their close ties, Australia and Britain expelled Israeli diplomats who supposedly had either a hand in the alleged operation or who work for the Mossad.
It should be noted that neither country takes steps against outspoken terror supporters who call for Israel to be destroyed and call for the murder of individual Israelis.
For instance, in an interview last month with The Australian, Ali Kazak, the former PLO ambassador to Australia, effectively solicited the murder of The Jerusalem Post’s Palestinian affairs correspondent Khaled Abu Toameh. Kazak told the newspaper, "Khaled Abu Toameh is a traitor."
Allowing that many Palestinians have been murdered for such accusations, Kazak excused those extrajudicial murders saying, "Traitors were also murdered by the French Resistance, in Europe; this happens everywhere."
Not only did Australia not expel Kazak or open a criminal investigation against him, as a consequence of his smear campaign against Abu Toameh, several Australians cancelled their scheduled meetings with him.
AND OF course, this week we have the actions of Germany and Poland. They are considered Israel’s best friends in Europe, and yet acting on a German arrest warrant, Poland has arrested a suspected Mossad officer named Uri Brodsky for his alleged involvement in the alleged Mossad operation against Mabhouh. Israel is now caught in a diplomatic disaster zone where its two closest allies - who again are only too happy to receive regular intelligence updates from the Mossad - are siding with Hamas against it.
And then of course we have the EU’s call for Israel to cancel its lawful blockade of the Gaza coast. That is, the official position of the EU is that an Iranian proxy terrorist organization should be allowed to gain control over a Mediterranean port and through it, provide Iran with yet another venue from which it can launch attacks against Europe.
For their part, the Sunni Arabs are forced to go along with this. The Egyptian regime considers the fact that the Muslim Brotherhood took over Gaza a threat to its very survival and has been assiduously sealing its border with Gaza for some time. And yet, unable to be more anti-Hamas than the US, Australia and Europe, Mubarak is opening the border. Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa’s unprecedented visit to Gaza this week should be seen as a last ditch attempt by Egypt to convince Hamas to unify its ranks with Fatah. Predictably, the ascendant Hamas refused his entreaties.
As for Fatah, it is hard not to feel sorry for its leader Mahmoud Abbas these days. In what was supposed to be a triumphant visit to the White House, Abbas was forced to smile last week as Obama announced the US will provide $450 million in aid to his sworn enemies who three years ago ran him and his Fatah henchmen out of Gaza.
So too, Abbas is forced to cheer as Obama pressures Israel to give Hamas an outlet to the sea. This will render it impossible for Fatah to ever unseat Hamas either by force or at the ballot box. Hamas’s international clout demonstrates to the Palestinians that jihad pays.
THERE ARE three plausible explanations for the West’s decision to back Hamas. All of them say something deeply disturbing about the state of the world. The first plausible explanation is that the Americans and the rest of the West are simply naïve. They believe that by backing Hamas, they are advancing the cause of Middle East peace.
If this is in fact what the likes of Obama and his European and Australian counterparts think, apparently no one in the West is thinking very hard. The fact is that by backing Hamas against Israel, they are backing Hamas against Fatah and they are backing Iran, Syria, Turkey, Hamas and Hizbullah against Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. They are backing the most radical actors in the region - and arguably in the world - against states and regimes they have a shared strategic interest in strengthening.
There is absolutely no way this behavior advances the cause of peace.
The second plausible explanation is that the West’s support for Hamas is motivated by hatred of Israel. As Helen Thomas’s recent remarks demonstrated, there is certainly a lot of that going around.
The final plausible explanation for the West’s support for Hamas is that it has been led to believe that by acting as it is, it will buy itself immunity from attack by Hamas and its fellow members of the Iranian axis. As former Italian president Francesco Cossiga first exposed in a letter to Corriere della Serra in August 2008, in the early 1970s Italian prime minister Aldo Moro signed a deal with Yasser Arafat that gave the PLO and its affiliated organizations the freedom to operate terror bases in Italy. In exchange the Palestinians agreed to limit their attacks to Jewish and Israeli targets. Italy maintained its allegiance to the deal - and to the PLO against Israel - even when Italian targets were hit.
Cossiga told the newspaper that the August 2, 1980 bombing at the Bologna train station - which Italy blamed on Italian fascists - was actually the work of George Habash’s Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Eighty-five people were murdered in the attack, and still Italy maintained its agreement with the PLO to the point where it prosecuted and imprisoned the wrong people for the worst terrorist attack in its history.
Cossiga alleged that the deal is still in place today and that Italian forces in UNIFIL have expanded the deal to include Hamas’s fellow Iranian proxy Hizbullah. It isn’t much of a stretch to consider the possibility that Italy and the rest of the Western powers have made a similar deal with Hamas. And it is no stretch at all to believe that they will benefit from it as greatly as the Italian railroad passengers in Bologna did.
True, no one has come out and admitted to supporting Hamas. So too, no one has expressed anything by love for Israel and the Jewish people. But the actions of the governments of the West tell a different tale. Without one or more of the explanations above, it is hard to understand their current policies.
Since the flotilla incident, Netanyahu and his ministers have held marathon deliberations on how to respond to US pressure to accept an international inquisition into the IDF’s lawful enforcement of the legal blockade of the Gaza coast. Their deliberations went on at the same time as Netanyahu and his envoys attempted to convince Obama to stop his mad rush to give Hamas an outlet to the sea and deny Israel even the most passive right of self-defense.
It remains to be seen if their decision to form an investigative panel with international "observers" was a wise move or yet another ill-advised concession to an unappeasable administration. What is certain, however, is that it will not end the West’s budding romance with Hamas.
The West’s decision to side with Hamas is devastating. But whatever the reasons for it, it is a fact of life. It is Netanyahu’s duty to swallow this bitter pill and devise a strategy to protect the country from their madness.
